On July 11, 2025, at Lumina Shanghai, the unveiling of EverProX Technologies was celebrated with applause as red silk fell from a new logo wall. The renaming ceremony marked a significant shift for the company, signaling its evolution from a optical component specialist to a broader photonic integration solutions provider.

“July has always been meaningful for us,” said Tang Kuanjin, Director and General Manager of EverProX. “Broadex was founded in July, acquired by YOFC in July, and now we gather again in July—not just for a name change, but for a strategic upgrade and a new beginning.”

Since its founding in Jiaxing in 2003, Broadex pioneered PLC splitters and went public in 2016. In 2022, YOFC became its controlling shareholder, and in December 2023, Broadex acquired EverPro, a leader in AOC and MPO connectors. This integration created an end-to-end capability from fiber to systems, strengthening its market position.

The merged entity focused quickly on synergy: a new management system was established, product lines were integrated across telecom, datacom, and industrial applications, and overseas presence grew—especially in Indonesia. R&D investment increased significantly, with new projects in silicon photonics and co-packaged optics.

Despite a challenging industry environment in 2024, EverProX achieved breakthrough growth, demonstrating the value of integration.

In June 2025, the company officially announced its name change to EverProX, reflecting its transformation into an integrated photonics interconnect solutions provider. The new name combines YOFC's gene, EverPro's spirit, and Broadex's platform.

At the ceremony, YOFC Senior Vice President Jan Bongaerts expressed pride in the company's growth, while President Zhuang Dan emphasized unity under the new name. Chairman Ma Jie described the change as a “milestone,” noting that the “X” in EverProX symbolizes infinite possibilities.

     The event concluded with a cake-cutting and group photo, opening a new chapter for EverProX—a company poised to explore broader horizons in the photonics interconnection landscape.
